In which there are some holiday snaps

Standard

So my holiday…

Well, it started here

Hong Kong harbour

Where I ate things like this

And saw this

Giant Buddha, Lantau Island

And drank $10 vodkas which culminated in us dancing on a bar.

Then we went here

Where we visited this

Reclining Buddha, Wat Po, Bangkok

And ate this

And drank this.

Then we found paradise

Sairee Beach, Koh Tao

And spent our days doing this

And this

And this.

And despite the small drama of being in Bangkok at the same time as 65,000 blood throwing protestors, it was one of the most relaxing holidays I’ve ever been on.  I can highly recommend starting the day with pancakes and a fresh fruit salad whilst looking out to a turquoise sea.  Eating a bagel in front of BBC Breakfast News just doesn’t set you up in the same way.
